The MTC Branding & Marketing Indaba has announced 18 Excellence Award categories aimed at recognising outstanding achievement and innovation in the branding, marketing, communications, and advertising industry.
The awards will be presented at the MTC Branding & Marketing Indaba Gala Dinner on 10 April 2026 at the Mövenpick Hotel in Windhoek.
MTC’s Chief Brand, Marketing, Communications and Sustainability Officer, Tim Ekandjo, said the awards are intended to honour individuals and organisations that have demonstrated exceptional performance and made meaningful contributions to the industry.
To ensure fairness and credibility, the awards will be adjudicated by an independent panel of industry experts. All categories will be judged by the panel, except for the People’s Brand of the Year, which will be decided through a public vote.
Entries will be accepted only from registered Indaba participants and must relate to work completed between 1 January 2025 and 1 January 2026. Submissions open on 1 February 2026 and close on 28 February 2026, with no late entries accepted.
Each award winner will receive N$20,000 in prize money and a trophy. Winners who do not attend the Indaba will forfeit both the prize money and the trophy.
The 18 award categories include honours for brand campaigns, marketing innovation, PR excellence, advertising, influencer marketing, social impact initiatives, NGOs, events, and exhibitor excellence.
The Indaba has also opened opportunities for corporate partnerships, with up to three official co-sponsors contributing N$300,000 annually, as well as a dedicated Gala Dinner sponsorship valued at N$400,000.
Further details on award entries and sponsorship opportunities are available on the official Indaba platform.
